My Week 7 NFL so far has looked like this….

Defensively, the Giants have been in the middle of the pack, allowing 358 yards per game (15th) and 2365.3 passing yards (10th), But they struggle against the run, yielding 121.7 yards per game. Despite having Barkley, the Giants are averaging just 87.5 yards rushing per game (27th) and 260.8 passing yards (18th), which adds up to just 19.5 points per game (27th). They should be able to take advantage of a bad Atlanta secondary with Odell Beckham Jr. (45 catches for 506 yards) and Sterling Shepard (31 for 341 yards).

The biggest issues for the Falcons are on defense, especially the secondary, where they’ve had to replace safeties Ricardo Allen and Keanu Neal. Their replacements are Damontae Kazee (three picks), who is a second-year player who had started just one game last season, while Jordan Richards was a backup with New England for three years. Atlanta ranks 30th in the NFL with 417.2 yards per game allowed, 32nd in points allowed per game (32ppg) and 29th against the pass (295.8ypg). If Manning can’t take advantage of that secondary, then it’s time to go to Tanney or Lauletta.
