The Las Vegas Westgate SuperBook is offering odds on which players will win the 2018 Most Valuable Player award for the American League and National League.

Jose Altuve of the Houston Astros was the AL winner last season, the first time a player from the franchise won the award since 1994 when first baseman Jeff Bagwell won.

The SuperBook has Altuve listed as a 6/1 betting choice to repeat. The favorite for the AL award is outfielder Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at Even Odds (1/1). Trout won the award in 2016 and also win in 2014.

In the National League, Bryce Harper of the Nationals (3/1) is the favorite. He won the award in 2015.

Last year, Giancarlo Stanton of the Miami Marlins took home the NL hardware but he was traded to the New York Yankees in the offseason. His odds to win the AL MVP are listed at 12/1.
